Defining Times

The first is a new edition of our Different Times t-shirt series, which we’ve been releasing in runs of 120 since the first plain-blue version in 2013. Each edition adapts the same template to its context — Difficult Times, Spiritual Times, and so on.

(How many more times?! You may ask... anyway)

This one is called Defining Times, because of what the moment felt like, and as an excuse to take the concept literally: the graphic contains its own measurements and placement instructions. The shirt is the instruction and the instruction is the shirt. It remains unclear how this lil’ joke landed at the print shop.

ABC KeYYchain

The second is personal souvenir for Francisco and Tawanda: an oversized version of our ABCKeychain. We felt that a moment like this — opening your own studio, starting to sail under your own banner — deserves something a bit more extra large. A big key for a big moment. May lots of doors open up for them.

lecture at the Architectural Association

No slides, no structure, ... just two microphones to hold onto throughout these sixty minutes. Quite terrifying at first, actually, but it was great to just talk a little and reflect on a variety of things—randomly hitting spacebar on one’s own mental desktop and seeing what appears. Thanks for coming to our talk and turning this into such a good evening for us.

Our Dietiker X Ray chair project had a guest appearance, too! We’re currently working on a follow up, and it’s looking as bright and colourful as this one, but something’s different... More soon :)
